Today is a special day.

Today is my birthday. It is also Rita, Virginie, and Lola's birthday as well. In two days it will also be Varya's. Rita is a sweet lady in Russia who has connected all of us by our birthdays and by making beautiful quilts for us. Happy Birthday everyone. 2 Years Old

So I turned 2 on Saturday. Mommy and Daddy were going to take me and Anna to the zoo. All week they said it was going to be mid 70's and 0% chance of rain. Then on thursday they changed the forecast to low 60's and 70% chance of rain. So we went out to Taco Bell and hung out together. I enjoyed opening my presents from grandma (a babydoll) and grammy and pappy (a safari ball roll). I also opened my card from gran and poppop. I went and bought a ball and a balloon with the money from their card. All in all it was a pretty fun day. Daddy promises to post some pics of me opening presents soon.

Virginie

She is one of the other 4 girls who have been sent a quilt from Rita. Her parents Béatrice and Olivier have emailed us from Belgium. So glad to hear from them. We have already mentioned Lola from France and the fourth girl's name is Barbara from Moscow. Her birthday is actually on the 7th. But Rita figured that was close enough plus it turns out that University of Moscow was opened on May 7th of 1755. So that was kind of cool. Well we will post pictures of the other girls if we get some. Hope to hear more from the other families. Thanks for stopping by.

A new neighbor

My friend Lucy next door has a new baby brother. My big sister, nanna, as I call her, thinks it is not fair. She has been praying for a little boy for us. She told mommy that Lucy's mom should give us the boy because she has been praying for a little boy and doesn't think it is fair that our neighbors got him. Well anyways. His name is Simon and here is a picture of my new neighbor.

Sorry it has been so long...

But daddy has been too busy at work to update and we are hoping to get broadband at home soon so it will be easier to update. I am starting to learn how the computer on my own though. I know that there is a board with bunch of button I bang on. Then there is this other little thing about the size of daddy's hand that I move and round and click. That is about as much as I have figured out for now. Sissy has figured out how to turn on her own comptuer and play games on hers. I will catch up before too long. Anyway, daddy took some pictures of me in the backyard awhile ago and some of me and big sister as well. Hope you enjoy them for as much time as it took daddy to take them.

3 days until my birthday

My birthday is coming up in 3 days. I have received a really neat birthday card from Rita and mom and dad are pretty sure they were able to translate most of it properly. Rita is still waiting to hear back from a couple of families to find the other 2 girls who share my birthday who will get a special quilt like mine. Daddy said he realized recently that he has not posted any pictures of me an my quilt. Hopefully he will do that and get some good pictures of my one year birthday party posted. In the mean time here are some pictures of me Easter Egg hunting.
